Celebrate your birthday with the Okanagan Science Centre and leave the science of fun up to us!

Each birthday party includes approximately 30-40 minutes of hands-on science experiments with OSC scientists. During the remaining time, the birthday group can explore the science centre exhibits and enjoy the birthday party room for cake, presents, and additional fun with friends! 

You are welcome to bring decorations*, cake, snacks, beverages, and serving utensils. And remember - ages are just a guideline! We can customize the activities for older or younger ages for any birthday party theme. 

Adult supervision is required at all times while in the birthday party room and within the Science Centre exhibits. 

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

    • Total party time: 2 hours max 
    • Bringing your own decorations is encouraged, but tape and/or adhesive strips of any kind are not permitted to be used on the walls. Sticky tack is preferred, but not supplied by OSC.
    • Refrigeration for food/cake is not available for birthday parties.
    • Maximum 12 kids and 20 total guests (with adults) for each party 
    • Additional charge of $5/per child for any additional children over the max allowance.

    CANCELLATION POLICY

    • Full payment is required at the time of booking and will be refunded 100% if the party is cancelled at least 10 days before the party date.
    • If the party is cancelled within 10 days of the party date, a 50% refund will be issued unless extenuating circumstances approved by OSC management.
