The Okanagan Science Centre is excited to offer one-on-one tutoring for students from Kindergarten through Grade 12.
Our tutoring program provides students with personalized, focused support from our knowledgeable staff. Each one-hour session is designed around the individual student, their learning style, and their specific academic goals.

Meet Julian
Mathematics & Physics
Julian is a physicist with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Northern British Columbia. He has spent several years working in visitor and science centres across BC as well as tutoring. He is passionate about making learning engaging and helping students build confidence in math, physics, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Meet Zach
Biology & Chemistry
Zach is a third-year Biochemistry student at Okanagan College. He brings his passion for chemistry and the life sciences to his tutoring sessions, helping students build confidence and understanding in biology, chemistry, and scientific problem-solving.
Important Information About Our Tutoring Services
The Okanagan Science Centre's tutoring services are provided by members of our Operations & Experiences team who have experience working with children and delivering engaging science and STEM programming. Our tutors are not certified teachers and do not hold education degrees, nor are they certified specialists in learning disabilities or other specialized educational needs.
Our tutoring sessions are intended to provide general academic support, subject reinforcement, homework assistance, and additional opportunities to build understanding and confidence. If your child has a diagnosed learning disability, requires specialized educational accommodations, or needs intensive or specialized intervention, we recommend working with a certified teacher, educational specialist, or qualified professional who is trained to support those specific needs.
Parents and caregivers are responsible for determining whether OSC tutoring is an appropriate fit for their child's individual learning needs.
