Refund policy

MEMBERSHIPS

All membership purchases at the Okanagan Science Centre are final. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations on memberships once a purchase has been completed. Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable, regardless of usage or circumstances.

Please review all membership details carefully before completing your purchase. If you have questions about membership benefits or levels, our team is happy to help prior to checkout.

SCIENCE CAMPS

All Okanagan Science Centre camp (Pro D, Spring Break, Summer) cancellations are subject to a $5 administration fee per day, per camp, per child.

  • A full refund, less the administration fee, will be issued if a request to withdraw is made at least 14 days before the camp start date.

  • Requests made less than 14 days before the camp start date will receive a 50% refund, less the administration fee.

  • No refunds will be provided after the camp start date, except in extenuating circumstances. In these cases, a written request for a refund or credit toward another camp is required and will be reviewed by the Operations Manager or Executive Director for approval.

  • No refunds are provided for missed days or forgotten camps.

  • If the Okanagan Science Centre must cancel a camp for any reason, a 100% refund will be issued with no administration fee applied.

EVENTS 

Special event ticket purchases are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

RETAIL PURCHASES

We have a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns on sale items, final sale items, memberships or gift cards.

Refunds 

If your refund is approved, it will be issued to your original method of payment. Please allow 2–3 business days for the refund to be processed.
