This spring, join us at the Okanagan Science Centre for Spring Into Science Saturdays - a fun, interactive 4-week program packed with hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities designed for curious kids! Each week explores a new spring-inspired theme, helping children connect with nature, investigate the world around them, and get creative through exciting experiments and projects. Suitable for all ages!
Time: Saturdays at 2:00-3:00pm
Location: Okanagan Science Centre
May 10th - Spring into Nature (build a bug hotel [bug catcher], spring nature scavenger hunt)
May 17th - Weather Wonders (raincloud in a jar, wind-powered pinwheels)
May 24th - Blossoms & Botany (parts of a flower, chromatography flowers, pollinators)
May 31st - Sunshine & Sustainability (DIY birdfeeders)
Activities are subject to change without notice, but all changes will remain aligned with the scheduled weekly themes. Parents/Caregivers are required to stay with their children at all times while inside the Okanagan Science Centre including the Spring into Science Workshops.
