The Okanagan Science Centre is excited to offer over 15 enriching science camp experiences for youth aged 5-9 this summer! Our camps are designed with two age groups in mind: 5-6 and 7-9, ensuring age-appropriate learning and fun. With a wide range of themes including biology, chemistry, astronomy, robotics, and engineering, there’s a camp to match every child’s interests.
Parents/Caregivers have the flexibility to register for the whole week of camp or select individual days that fit their schedule. Click on the images below to view our camp options.

A $5 administration fee (per day, per camp, per child) is applied to all Okanagan Science Centre camp cancellations.
For example: If you registered your child for a 5-day camp and cancelled there would be a $25 administration fee.
A full refund less the administration fee (per child, per camp) will be issued if the request to withdraw is made at least 14 days before the camp start date.
Requests made less than 14 days before the camp start date will be refunded at 50%, less the administration fee (per child, per camp).
No refund is provided after the camp/program start date unless there are extenuating circumstances. In such cases, we request a written request for refund or a credit toward another camp. This request will be submitted to the Operations Manager or Executive Director for approval.
No refund is provided for days missed or forgotten camps.

Camp drop off is from 8:30 am-9:00 am and pick up is from 3:30-4:00 pm.

Please pack a lunch, two snacks and a water bottle for each camper. Send appropriate clothing with you children depending on the time of year as we always try to get outside for some fresh air throughout the day!

The Okanagan Science Centre is 100% nut free. Please do not pack nuts of any kind with your child's lunch/snacks. Also, campers should not bring money (the gift shop is not accessible for campers) or valuable items to camp. The Okanagan Science Centre is not responsible for lost or stolen items brought to camp.

Yes! Approximately a week prior to the start date of camp, a Parent Information Handbook as well as a registration form will be emailed to parents/caregivers.
