Presenter Bio: Ashu Sharma is a passionate amateur astronomer with the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (Okanagan Centre) and a technology enthusiast based in Vernon. Holding a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Ashu loves bridging the gap between digital systems and the night sky. In 2025, his team won a Local Impact award at the NASA Space Apps Challenge for building "Quantum Zoom," a space image visualization platform. On clear Okanagan nights, Ashu usually explores deep-space targets through his 8-inch Dobsonian telescope.
