CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY

A $5 administration fee (per day, per camp, per child) is applied to all Okanagan Science Centre camp cancellations.

• For example: If you registered your child for a 5-day camp and cancelled there would be a $25 administration fee. 

A full refund less the administration fee (per child, per camp) will be issued if the request to withdraw is made at least 14 days before the camp start date.  

Requests made less than 14 days before the camp start date will be refunded at 50%, less the administration fee (per child, per camp). 

No refund is provided after the camp/program start date unless there are extenuating circumstances. In such cases, we request a written request for refund or a credit toward another camp. This request will be submitted to the Operations Manager or Executive Director for approval. 

No refund is provided for days missed or forgotten camps.  

If the Okanagan Science Centre has to cancel a camp for any reason, we will provide a 100% refund back to the customer with no administration fee applied. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

1. The minimum age for children in any of our science camp programming is 6 years old. No exceptions. 

2. Camp drop off is from 8:30 am-9:00 am and pick up is from 3:30-4:00 pm.

3. Please pack a lunch, two snacks and a water bottle for each camper. The Okanagan Science Centre is 100% nut free. Please do not pack nuts of any kind with your child's lunch/snacks. 

4. Approximately a week prior to the start date of camp, a Parent Information Handbook as well as a registration form will be emailed with more information.
