At the centre of the plasma ball is a small electrode. It’s powered by electricity, which sends out energy waves in all directions. But instead of creating boring, regular electricity, it turns the gas inside the ball into plasma.
Plasma is like a super-charged gas. It’s full of excited particles that glow when electricity flows through them. The colourful lightning bolts you see are actually paths the energy takes as it travels from the electrode to the inside of the ball.
When you touch the ball with your fingers, the magic happens! Your body attracts the electricity, pulling the energy toward your hand.
