Evening Features
New travelling exhibit - wild weather
Severe weather is a powerful and unpredictable force that can have major impacts on communities, infrastructure, and lives. Wild Weather is a travelling exhibition that immerses visitors in the fascinating science behind extreme weather events.
Step into the heart of the storm — explore the destruction caused by tornadoes, track lightning strikes and cloud formations, and meet the scientists studying the power of wind. Through interactive displays and hands-on experiences, discover how new technologies and research are helping us better predict severe weather and prepare for a changing climate.
Drop-in Teacher Café hosted by Science World
Swing by the Drop-in Teacher Café any time during the evening to experience hands-on learning opportunities that will creatively bring digital literacy and technology education into your classroom!
Explore fun robotics and coding tools that engage students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Brainstorm ways to empower your students with the skills they need for the future, like AI literacy (including some "unplugged activities"— did you know that you can teach AI without a computer?).
