The Okanagan Science Centre is participating in the GenAction Initiative to empower our youth to become leaders in climate action by increasing awareness and understanding of climate change science.
New spotlights posted monthly will highlight science based research to promote youth access to locally relevant and current peer-reviewed research outcomes on climate science, resilience, and action.
Today’s youth will form the next generation of communities working towards net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050; taking action now and in the future is essential for achieving this goal. By taking action to combat climate change together, we can build a sustainable world for the future.
Hey Teachers! A new spotlight will be posted monthly and can be downloaded and used in the classroom.
